The right red light therapy panel for home starts with three practical questions: where will it go, how much panel coverage do you want, and what do you want to spend? A compact tabletop model may suit your space better than a floor-standing panel. A wider panel may make more sense if you have a dedicated home gym or wellbeing corner.
For men over 35 building a repeatable routine, the setup needs to fit around everyday life. This guide compares our own Prime Shift MOVE range so you can choose with a clear picture of the differences.
Which home panel fits your setup?
- Choose MOVE Digital for a compact tabletop setup and the lowest entry price in the range.
- Choose MOVE Plus for a narrower floor-standing panel with an included wheeled stand.
- Choose MOVE Pro for the widest panel in the MOVE range, with an included wheeled base.

Start with the space you actually have
Before comparing specifications, choose a possible place for your panel. Measure the available space and think about storage, access to a power socket and whether equipment will need moving between sessions.
A tabletop setup can be a practical starting point when floor space is limited. A floor-standing setup makes more sense when you can give it a consistent place. Allow for the stand as well as the panel, and use the positioning and clearance guidance supplied with your model.
In a shared room, also consider the everyday details: will the panel block a cupboard, a walkway or another piece of equipment? A setup that fits comfortably is easier to live with.
MOVE Digital: a compact starting point
MOVE Digital combines 60 LEDs, five wavelengths and a tabletop stand. At the current £269 price, it is the most accessible way into the MOVE range.
It is worth considering if you want a smaller setup without dedicating floor space to a larger panel. Choose it because the format suits your home, rather than feeling you need to start with the biggest option.
MOVE Plus or MOVE Pro: what does the extra £200 buy?
MOVE Plus and MOVE Pro have the same 91 cm panel-body height. Pro is wider: 29.8 cm compared with 19.5 cm. That is an extra 10.3 cm of panel width.
Both offer seven wavelengths and come with a wheeled stand or base. Plus has 180 LEDs, while Pro has 300. At their current prices, the difference is £200.
If the narrower format fits your room and budget, Plus is a sensible option. If you want the widest MOVE panel for a dedicated home gym or wellbeing space, Pro is the model to consider. The reason to step up is the physical format and specification; a higher LED count alone is not proof of better health results.
Look beyond one headline number
LED counts and wavelength lists help describe a panel, but they do not tell you everything about how it will fit your routine. Read the model-specific instructions, check the controls and included accessories, and make sure the dimensions suit the space you measured.
A timer’s maximum setting is not a recommended session length. Follow the guidance supplied for your exact panel rather than copying a setting from another device or a social post. For more background, visit the Prime Shift Education Hub.
Check the full purchase, not just the panel
Before ordering, review delivery information, the included stand and accessories, and the published returns and warranty terms. The MOVE range includes a two-year limited warranty and a 30-day returns period, subject to the applicable terms.
If you are planning around a particular date or room layout, contact Prime Shift before ordering. A clear answer before purchase is more useful than guessing.
Frequently asked questions
Is MOVE Pro taller than MOVE Plus?
No. Both panel bodies are 91 cm high. Pro is wider and has more LEDs. Allow separately for the included wheeled assembly when planning the complete setup.
Does MOVE Pro include a stand?
Yes. MOVE Pro includes its mobile wheeled base in the listed price. MOVE Plus includes a wheeled stand, while MOVE Digital includes a tabletop stand.
Which model suits a home gym?
Pro is worth considering if you want the widest MOVE panel and have room for it. Plus suits a narrower floor-standing setup. Digital remains an option where a compact tabletop format fits better.
Do I need the most expensive panel?
No. Choose the format that suits your space, budget and intended routine. A higher price does not automatically make a panel the right choice for you.
